religion in school mandated

the christian science monitor is reporting that schools are looking at a double edged sword. allow religion to be expressed to a captive audience, or lose your federal funding. the problem arises that if they did that, then there's the likely hood of being sued. once again, bush has had his agenda stealthly put into a bill.

it's ok if someone wants to pray at school. hell, i even think that an administrator can ask for a class to "pray", as long as it's done in a non-denominational way. "please have a moment of silence or prayer for..." "our thoughts and prayers go out..." but, religion cannot be pressed in a public school in todays society.
